    Contact Churn & Burn

Questions, feedback, classroom adoption help, or bug reports — they all land in the same inbox.

    Get in touch

Churn & Burn is built and maintained by Ivan Kako, a games-industry veteran who teaches mobile-publishing economics. The contact form below goes directly to him — there is no support team in between, and there are no marketing emails. Most messages get a reply within one or two business days from Lisbon (UTC).

    What people write in about

    Classroom adoption

Bringing the game into a course, lab, or workshop — including syllabus fit, group sizes, and grading rubrics.

    Bulk or printed decks

Requests for printed card decks, custom branding for cohorts, or licensing for a publisher or accelerator.

    Instructor onboarding

Walkthroughs of the instructor dashboard, scheduled vs async sessions, and how to debrief a round.

    Bugs and feature ideas

Anything that broke, felt confusing, or you wish the simulation handled differently. Specifics help most.

    Before you write

A lot of common questions are already answered in the rulebook and materials, so it is worth a quick look first:

    • How to Play — round structure, card categories, and the win condition.
    • Materials — slide deck, printable cards, and instructor guides.
    • Demo — a no-signup playable round so you can see the mechanics first-hand.
    • Formulas — the exact math used by the simulation, useful when defending a result to a class.

    Response time

Replies usually arrive within one to two business days. If your class is starting tomorrow, say so in the subject line — urgent classroom requests get pulled to the top of the queue. For institutional access, SSO, or invoicing, please include your institution name and rough cohort size so the first reply can already contain the right details.
